BREAKING: Jack Walker arrested in La Trinité on suspicion of Arson

The GP have announced the arrest of Jack Walker during a sting operation after a bombing destroyed much of Robert Blanchard's Mansion

Jack Walker of ION was arrested a few hours ago, according to a statement released on 𝕏 (Formerly known as Twitter) by the new Malden Government.

The statement alleges that Walker is responsible for a fire-bombing during the early hours of last week’s Wednesday, when several witnesses reported an explosion and fire from Blanchard’s mansion. After the fire was contained, the local fire department sent out an investigation team to determine the cause of the fire. The investigation team has concluded that the cause must have been deliberate arson.

This allegation appears to have been substantiated by evidence uncovered by a team of cybersecurity experts, which have identified records of Walker entering the property during the same morning. The fire originated near Blanchard’s office and a makeshift operational room on the upper floor of the mansion. The documents within were destroyed during the fire.

The fire department therefore alleged a clear motive, cause and suspicion for Walker to be the instigator. Based on that information, the GP agreed to fulfill an island-wide arrest warrant for Mr. Walker, which was issued after the AAN article about the Blanchard interview was made public. A SWAT team successfully apprehended Walker’s car during a trip on the northern side of the island. After a short car chase, a well aimed shot into the passenger side rear tire caused Walker to lose control of the car, which prompted him to brake and surrender.

The GP have not released any further information. ION England has issued a statement that they will ‘fight these ridiculous accusations’. Meanwhile the heads of ION North Africa, now down a Commander¹ and Manager, indicated their intention to terminate their contract with the CdV, once a new leader is named for both organizations. Both the current and in-absentia leaders have outstanding INTERPOL warrants — Adrienne Durand has been confirmed to be in the UK and is awaiting trial, while Blanchard is in captivity by a faction² in the larger conflict.

The remaining board members of the CdV have not made any statements and have declined to comment — however, a few members have publically indicated that they will leave the organization following the Blanchard interview.
